Planet Ark's Australian Circular Economy Hub (ACE Hub) has partnered with CIRCO NL to bring their circular economy training to Australia, starting with Victoria.

The ACE Hub is excited to announce its partnership with CLICK NL to offer you and your organisation access to the CIRCO specialised training program titled ‘The Circular Business Design Workshop’.

A select group of businesses including Coles and Officeworks were among the first to uncover new circular business opportunities when we launched in September. Next, the CIRCO training rolls out in Geelong and again in Melbourne over October and November.

Our first cohort found the training inspiring and challenging, saying:

CIRCO training in Victoria is supported by the Circular Economy Innovation Fund as part of the Circular Economy Business Innovation Centre (CEBIC). CEBIC is delivered by Sustainability Victoria on behalf of the Victorian Government.

CIRCO Training Workshop - What is it?

Launched in The Netherlands in 2014, CIRCO training has since expanded to 18 countries across Europe and Asia including Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore. Now it’s available in Australia!

The CIRCO methodology has supported over 3,000 organisations in their circular economy transition with more than 70 per cent implementing what they learned and adopting circular business models in their businesses.

The circular economy is a system in which products are designed to provide resource efficiency through function first, to last longer, to be easily maintained, reused and, where needed, recycled.

The Circular Business Design Workshop is a carefully designed 3-day program that will familiarise you with the possibilities of operating in this system through circular entrepreneurship and design.

• Explore circular business opportunities for your brand.

• Gain valuable insights into the circular economy business models and design strategies.

• Take the initial steps to develop new circular products, services and business models.

• Develop a concrete plan that can be applied to your organisation.

• Connect and collaborate with like-minded individuals.

Each three-day workshop is limited to 10 businesses and each organisation is asked to send two representatives. With a maximum of 20 participants, the training ensures a highly interactive and productive environment, allowing for meaningful collaboration and engagement.
