Join APCO, Planet Ark and Australian Institute of Packaging for ‘PFAS in Fibre-based Food Contact Packaging’ webinar. This session will build industry awareness of PFAS and the need to phase them out.
What is the impact of PFAS on our health and environment and why is it important we remove them from our packaging? Join us Wednesday, June 8 for the ‘PFAS in Fibre-based Food Contact Packaging’ webinar and find out.
In this session Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), Planet Ark and the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) will help you understand PFAS and the need to phase them out of fibre-based packaging.
A recent Planet Ark and Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) study confirmed the presence of PFAS significantly above background levels in almost a third of packaging samples tested, with concentrations consistent with those found in comparable studies of food fibre packaging in the US, UK, and the EU.
